About us

Pacific Island Advisory Charitable Trust (PIACT) is here for Pasifika fanau across Southland — a place to come for support, connection, and practical help .

PIACT began with a simple idea: when Pasifika people have a space that feels safe, familiar, and culturally grounded, they’re more likely to reach out early, stay connected, and move forward with confidence. What started as community-led support has grown into a trusted hub where health, wellbeing, culture, and everyday practical needs are supported side by side.

Today, we work alongside individuals and fanau to strengthen physical, cultural, and emotional wellbeing — while protecting what matters most: identity, language, faith, and belonging. Whether you need help navigating services, building skills, finding the right support, or just a welcoming place to chat, PIACT is here.
